How can i make atrium over a lobby

Hi,

want to have an atrium but the skylight tool seems only to work on individual roof pane that is inclined at an angle, i will appreciate if someone can give me a hints on how to achieve this task or make a glass/window plane to be horizontal and/or inclined, i can't do Gdl creation.

The roof plane can also have the inclination of zero.

And, you don't have to do it with the skylight. What did we do before that?
