How do I create these stairs?

Please advise.
What would be the best method to use to create a "good" stair object in this manner?

1. Try moving the start point of the walking line (arc)
2. See page 1063 of the "ArchiCAD 14 Reference Guide"
3. This is a hard job to do (Stair Maker is like a mule)

4. With Archi Stair (Cigraph) you wil be able to resolve this issues
My point is that there is a better and faster way to do it than using any sort of stair tool which you will always find inadequate in some way.

When you get tired of fooling with stair tools trying to generate the details, drawings, sections, material lists, and other construction documents you need for a stair you may be interested in a process I use with stair parts rather than a stair tools.

If you have a stair already modeled it is very fast to edit a few parts to make it fit perfectly. And all of the details are regenerated and already annotated and in a layout. In the case of winders it is just a matter of rotating the riser and stretching some treads. In L shaped stairs you just rotate part of the stair and stretch a tread into a landing. That sort of thing.

Not happy with the 2d results? There is a better way to deal with than too.

I'll bite. can we see an example of some construction documents created with your stair parts? For me, it alway the railing that I can never model perfectly. Typically I use 2d details to describe exactly what I want and accept that the model differs slightly.

Yes...I'm bitting too.
I'm interested in seeing how you are able to resolve these "custom stairs" using your technique.....do share please.

this topic has been done too many times already. Besides, the guy who made the stair tool will not be happy with me if I show you how you don't need it.

The section in this link is what you get using parts vs a stair tool.
