I've been looking through the forum soaking up all the info I can about earthworks in AC. Next step... question: I'm trying to make a mesh cut line dashed instead of solid. Please see screenshot. I have two meshes - one existing and one proposed. I would like the existing mesh to show a dashed cut line (highlighted in yellow).
Hope this makes sense.

Opps, asked the question before trying graphic overrides. Solved. See images.

As alternative, you could try to create the section as a 3D document.
- use an axonometric view
- use a 3D cutaway to create the section
- use the "Look perpendicular to clicked surface" under View/3D navigation extras - to create a section like view
- create 3D document under Document/Documenting Tools
- under the 3D document settings set dashed line type for hidden edges

Thanks Szabolcs Mikó - a 3D document section sounds good. I like your thinking.
