It is pretty easy.
Place a marquee around the node/s you want to stretch.
Activate stretch by clicking the tool button or CTRL+H.
Click reference point A then reference point B.
Your node/s will stretch by the distance and angle between points A and B.
OR...
Make sure your 'Tracker' is active.
Place the marquee as before but instead of licking points A and B you can click anywhere.
Then you can input the distance and angle in the tracker and press ENTER to move that distance and angle.
You can also stretch the node of a single element by selecting the element, start to drag the node, choose 'stretch' or 'move node' from the pet palette, and use the tracker to give the distance and angle.
