License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

How to change direction of a polyline?

How to reverse the orientation of a line or polyline?

In AutoCAD, there is RvrsLine utility. What is the solution in ArchiCAD (15) ? For me it's a big problem.

Thanks for the solution.

Miky9:

For a Line, mirror the Line on its center point.

For a Polyline, I had some success adding a Line to the end of the PolyLine, then using the Magic Wand on these 2 parts to create a new Polyline that is the opposite direction, then stretching the extra segment of the new Polyline back to its original end to eliminate it.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

One can have several needs, that seems addressed by some software. I know ArchiCAD has more than 500 commands, and AutoCAD a lot more. Anyway I doubt there is one to choose to "reverse" the linetype horizontally or vertically. Sometime it can matter.
I'd keep it simple, and duplicate the linetype, with reversed elements.
