If I select a wall, for example, it show me distance from another wall finished surface. If I want to use Distance Guide as my moving objects tool and I need to have distances showing from the core elements, is it possible? Right now I see two options from the edge (whihc is last layer of the object) or from the reference line (which is could be on the oposide side of the wall, for example). So I need inner dimensions quick references I still cannot use distance guide as adequate tool for moving objects. Or am I missing something?

Hi @INTEXHOMES
As seen on the help article and as far as I know, you could change the arrow position of the distance guide once you already have place your element to reference the wall skin line of your preference. Just clic on the arrow end and move it.

I understand you can do it manually, but the whole point of distance guiedens is speed, not work around. And it's not only an arrow that needs to be moved it's also starting point that snaps to the skin. For example if I do framing construction drawing I need to have framing dimensions ignoring the skins, so the distance guides are not very useful in this case because I have to calculate every time subtracting the skins.

I found the solutions. I need to modify reference line to core on the wall itself and then in distance guiedes settings set to reference line. Then it works properly.
