How to create an object that repeats and doesn't stretch..?

Hello!

I am trying to created trim deck Metal sheeting to run around the perimeter of a building - like a typical factory finish..

I am using the Profile editor.. but is there a way to make it a library object so it acts/has the properties of a fence type object, so the at repeats sections without stretching the object.. any advice or suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated..

I have attached a image showing the profile as it is now (a column) and the 3D view..

Maybe you could try to achieve the same using the Wall Accessory.
