How to move stair stringers in?

Bill
Booster
I am trying to create a typical basement-type stair, where the wood treads sit on top of the wood stringers. I cannot figure out in the stair tool how to create this... when I set up the stair, the only option I see for stringers is for them to be located on the sides of the stair, and the treads are set into the sides. What am i missing? Is there a setting to offset the stringer locations?

Thanks!

Instead of the 'Stringer" flight/landing, try using the 'Beam' type.
The beam sits under the treads, and you can use the 'Open Stringer 22' beam.
