How to type fractional unit lengths?

As title says.

If I work in metric units, for 5 and half meters I just put 5,5 in tracker, and I have that length. But how to make 5' -9 2/3'' length? how to type that on keyboard with fractional units? Tnx!

with imperial units, archicad interprets everything on the left side of a hyphen as feet and everything on the right of a space as inches. fractions are treated as fractions of an inch.

if you type 5 [hyphen] 5 you get 5"-5"

if you type 0 [hyphen] 5 you get 5"

if you 5 [space] 5/8 you get 5 5/8"

if you type 1-5.625 you get 1'-7 1/2"
