How would I model this in archiCAD?

I'm just curious as to how I miht be able to model something like the wind turbine on this page... I had no luck with the roof tool, and I'm stumped

Is there some tool that would work perfectly that I'm completely missing? Any help would be fantastic!

Not sure which bit you're trying to model - anything like the attached images?

yeah, like i said, the wind turbine... ie, something like the double helix you modelled there - what did you use to do that?

That's the "Regular Profile" object from OBJECTiVE. It can be transformed to that shape with the Bend and Offset tools, or the required settings can be entered directly (attached image).
See http://www.encina.co.uk/objective.html for more info (or a demo).

hmmm... so it can't be done just in archicad? How annoying!

edit: nevermind - just found Z.Bauer's spiral object, brilliant!

Try this thread. The spiral rail part is listed near the end.
