A client of mine has given me a colour from a Dulux colour chart. What is the easiest way to create this colour in the create new materials section
Cheers

In all fairness, "Spring Green" turns out to be an unexpected shade in a remarkably rich color array. Here in Canada, we merely number our paint colors, but why bother, since they are all off-white, anyways.

But reviewing the colors and names given to these color samples, it is clear the fault lies with a demented product naming person.

I think there's a game at the paint factory to make torturous and misleading color names:

"Shindig" Shylock" "Silverbeet [olive greenish]"

Check out "Sink Hole," " Shy Girl [a diluted pink]" "Smokebush [far out]"

There are even potential action figure names: "Satin Latour" and "Scott Base"

It is like one might create an action movie script from paint names "Shipwreck" "Sky Chase" and "Snuggle Pie"

And that, just the "S's"

Somebody MUST be making these up.

FYI Silverbeet is a spinach-like vegetable, and is dark olive green in colour.

Resene (NZ paint manufacturer, www.resene.co.nz) have similarly whacked-out names too.

I am now informed privately that, like many Hollywood actresses, "Spring Green" doesn't look anything like its picture on the web site.
