my surveys come in as .dwg Most come without .shx files. The book mentions xyz, could I interpret pts to xyz and get the result in AC14? or what do I tell the surveyor as to the form of the file I need to implement this feature in AC14
Oh, happy Friday. This is totally on me. I recently changed layer attributes and the default site topography layer was replaced with a locked and hidden layer. I didn't check there.
Although, a message saying my placed elements ended up on a locked or hidden layer would've been nice!
At least I can now see in 3D window that the elevation points are messing up the site. I will inform our surveyor of that.
Thanks Rafal for confirming at least the format was correct!
