Inserting retaining walls on site to match contours

Gidday fellas

I am not sure if you'll understand this question so best to look at the piccy...basically I want the retaining wall to obtain the contour slope so it is all flush...I tried SEO but to no avail....maybe I was doing it wrong or something...I did use the SEO for the pathway (the grey thing) but now there is a big hollow section now because of the subtraction...sorry...here's the pic...thanks in advance

Hope you can understand.

Cheers,

Andrew

Andrew,
One way to make the top of your wall follow the terrain is to use pieces of
roof tilted at various angles to trim your walls. After you have
trimmed your walls you can delete the roofs.
It appears that your terrain mesh is a surface mesh.
Is this intentional ?

Thanks for the reply Peter...I wasnt aware of the surface mesh/ terrain mesh...how do you convert the surface mesh to terrain mesh? Would that solve the problem of it not been solid?

Cheers,

Andrew

Andrew,
There are three types of polygonal meshes,
surface,surface with skirt, and solid.
The type is selected with a button in the info box.
Please see attached image.
If you seem to have the right mesh type but the mesh
is still hollow then it has at some point "gone hollow",
a condition that cannot be fixed unless you can do enough
"undo" commands to get it back to solid.
