I used it fine in AC9, but the same process produces diddly in 10 (build 1010).

Works fine here. Have you placed the zone and interior elevation marker? Maybe your layer set is not correct. Have you checked the settings?

Yes Link - it was the layer set (an option that wasn't in AC9).
I put the zones on a hidden layer, therefore confusing ArchiCAD.
