Intermittent open gl view

Intermittent strange Open gl view.
In a test file I was working in...
As far as I can tell it's not any settings I've changed, and it seems to have fixed itself for now anyway, but for a while it would be correct, then not.
It's suppose to be 04 CStone 01 (as in the next post).
However it has left me wondering is this something I'm missing, or some kind of intermittent open gl texture behavior in 16?
Or an unstable video card?
(Latest driver one week ago).
Internal engine view is normal.
It's a composite wall but Core or Entire Model showed the same.

What it was and now again is.
View somewhat changed, but wall/material are the same.
ps
I should add that another texture (04 CRiverRock 02) also displayed without
texture at the same time, whereas other textures displayed correctly.

Lec,

It seems to me like something involving the graphics card. Radeon 5770 was introduced with native support for OpenGl 3.2 and ArchicAD 16 makes use of features from the OpenGL 3.3 standard (released 2010). So there may be times when you could possibly see some artifacts. We do have an OpenGL troubleshooting method that you could look into: http://archicadwiki.com/OpenGL#OpenGL_Drawing_Method_Troubleshooting

Just a small observation: the first image is an axonometric view and the second shot is a perspective view. Is there any correlation there to the problem?

Best regards,

Hi Nicholas
Thanks for the reply.
The trouble shooting tip won't help me as the problem has not returned as of late.
However I really appreciate the video card/info and now have decided to move up to a AMD FirePro V5900, (which seems like the sweet spot) for professional vs cost aspect, even though my machine is relatively new.
