Irregular 3D Roof Modeling

Hi, I am working on a project where the roof folds over the building a few times. As I am thinking of building a physical model for the final presentation, is there a way to 'unfold' the roof planes in Archicad so that each piece can be rotated onto a 'plan' view?

That is, a way to let me lay each roof plane flat in plan view.

This would allow me to laser cut all the 'flat' roof pieces on card so I can assemble to physical model.

You'll need to visualize each roof plane individually in a Parallel 3D view. Select in plan and then view selected as 3D.

In the Internal Rendering 'hidden line' method, apply the "Look to perpendicular of clicked surface" to get an orthographic view of the plane as edges. Copy this to a floor plan view. The assembled views can then be exported via DWG to the cutter.
