Is it possible to edit a Mesh in Elevation or section?

Hi,

I'm working on a complex structure and I'm using the mesh too in order to create the windows. The roof was fairly easy to insert mesh as I could see all the lines/points on plan. When I get to the Elevations I can only work with the mesh in 3D. I'm aware that I can convert the mesh to a roof but when I do this, the roof is split into multiple pieces which leads to lines all over the window.

Is there any other way to edit the mesh excluding in 3D?

Thank You

I understand how easy it is to get lost editing meshes in 3D.

I suggest that you employ a series of 3D elements - like slabs on a unique layer - to cue 3D Mesh editing since it is easy to add mesh points and elevate them in 3D - all you need is a hot spot to snap to.

Thanks I'll give that a go.

What is the reason why we cannot edit a Mesh in Elevation? Surely if a roof can be edited, a mesh should be just as easy? Unless it's because the roof has a pre-defined plane (45 degree for example?)

Are Mesh's able to be split or trim? In Elevation I've used trim and split tools and nothing happens...

Whilst we are on the topic of Mesh's, how do I enaable the mesh to show as transparent in Elevation? (I'm using blue glass material (default) and I have transparency turned on in Elevation settings...
