I have just opened Archicad ST2010, all has been working well in recent days, however tonight I can not actually draw anything, when i click on wall / slab / etc and draw it automatically changes to the select tool...... VERY frustrated.
All layers are unlocked and showing, still no joy.
Am I missing something really obvious?
Have work to send out tomorrow and desperately need it to work!
Matt

Either way, if it returns to the arrow tool, it's a strange issue.
I thought maybe you weren't in the floor plan window, but even that wouldn't return to the arrow tool.
Cheers,

Screen shot attached, as you can see the wall tool is selected.

It's almost like you have Shift stuck on somehow. Have you rebooted?
Strange indeed, unless it's a Start Edition issue (or feature) I am unaware of.
Cheers,

3rd restart of the night has cleared it.... not sure what caused it... hope it doesn't come back.
Thanks for the help, and the prompt to try another restart!
Cheers

Only answer after using crossover seems to be restart computer, closing Crossover doesn't work.
Cheers
