Hey all,
Having issues with using the 'stretch height' command in 3D. It seems to jam up the program, the only way to fix the issue is click off along the top bar of the window and then back into the working space.
Seems to be happing across the board with this command in 3d - not just isolated to cabinets.
the X marks where i need to click to get it back. This is the same across a team of 8.

Once again few months pass by and this is not fixed, the promised new update does not fix the problem.
I am at a loss for words.

I've discussed this with the developers, and they informed me that the registry switch was implemented in the Update Preview. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I've updated my previous reply accordingly.

Initially I thought I can use a workaround like measure then just change via the setting but it feels off specially when you are in the flow of editing in the 3d model. Hopefully Graphisoft can resolve this issue... Its not a small matter but a big part of our workflows... 😓

I have yet to test whether the new REGISTRY option resolves the issue. At this point I find Graphisoft's approach to this situation shameful.
What Oleksandra is trying to convey, and I will explain it simply, is this: We don't care about your problem. Here’s a half-baked fix, and that’s it. No form of compensation will be offered, and a solution to this issue may only be available in Version 29 of ArchiCAD — or it may not be; at this stage, nobody knows.
Graphisoft has completely lost me as a supporter. With the recent most upvoted post on the forum regarding long-requested add-ons, created by a single ex-Graphisoft developer, it is evident how out of touch Graphisoft has become with its user base.
I am truly disappointed, and if I could, I would have never purchased this product.

To whoever may read this, DO NOT Change your registry setting as per the "advice" from the Graphisoft representative. Your file and work project will sometimes be super slow and buggy. Redrawing plans and sections starts lagging and takes up to a few minutes for simple sections.
I assume this will never be fixed in versions 27-28, so I will stick to version 25. It feels amazing to spend so much money on a product that is filled with bugs that make it unusable.
I hope absolutely nobody changes to the new Graphisoft subscription platform, because there is no way they can justify such a price increase when every new version is I guess filled with bugs and offers so few actual useful changes or updates.
Absolute shame on behalf of Graphisoft.

Just updating Archicad does not fix the issue.
But maybe updating the libraries as well will.
I have yet to do that.
When I do I will post back.

I have just updated the libraries (both updates 1 & 2 to be sure).
Still can't stretch a cabinet in elevation.
Exactly the same problem as described before.

I am sure it is just a kitchen cabinet issue, as I can stretch the height of a bookshelf or other objects.
