Lighting for rendering

I am building a fly-through of a building starting outdoors and ending up inside. I have over 30 cameras in the path. I crash regularly.
Question: If I F5 an indoor camera to see how it looks, the ceiling panels aren't receiving light, so they look black. I am using the Lightworks Photo renderer and I have it set for sunlight, interior light and ambient light. How can I get enough light on the ceiling to have it show up white?
I have a great fly-through in the works, but it still needs tweaking. It takes over six hours to render it and that is only doing half of the cameras.

Thanks for your ideas.

1: make an "undersun:"

Sun object:

no shadow casting
Set sun position manually
altitude -90.

Whereabouts do you put this "undersun"? In the room out of view of the camera?

Thank You for your time.

I see that. I gotta ask the boss for the book. I will try to sweet-talk him into it.

Thank you for your time.
