Line Direction

Hi, I know this is a pretty simple question but I cant seem to find any answers for it. How would one switch the direction of a drawn line besides redrawing it manually the other way?

It's a pain when the adjust command adjusts the line the other way..

Thanks

the adjust command isn't influenced by the line direction if i understand your problem correctly... if you're adjusting a line to be smaller that what it was, and the left over segment that you want to keep is smaller that half the original line, then the adjust will not work like you want it to: it will make the line smaller but it will keep the longer side. use trim or split and delete?

i might be way off with what your problem is though... can you elaborate?

I am guessing that you are using a symbolic type line (a screen shot would help) that has a pattern, and you want to switch the end of the line where the pattern starts. You could mirror the line, perpendicular to its direction, on its midpoint.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

I agree, mirror or even rotate command
but... why?

There is an option to change the direction of walls (Design >Modify Wall); it would be good if this was available for lines as well.
