Llayout book - my title block & consecutive sheets numb

I know it is so easy that I am blind to it...much like Love, OK
How does one in a step by step way, take my title block as a Master Layout and then input the drawings on sheet 2 ,3 and 4 and have the numbers consecutive...and the title block show on all...?

I've spent 8 hours and 3 books and nothing has worked...so it must be tooo simple...Yes ?
Thanks. Paul

I tried that and draging the master inot the layout and it does not take..the master does not register. Is there another way? short of doing each page as a separate saved Project File ..?

Right click the layout and verify on layout settings that numbering is enabled, what master layout is assigned, also you can select all the layouts and edit them at once.

There are 2 different types of Layouts, a MASTER ( has everything you need repeated on all layouts) and a regular layouts (Were you place your views/drawings). Master layouts will show the Auto text ID as a name not a number, layouts will show the Layout number instead of the text. Make SURE that you are placing what you want were it belongs.

Yu - that's right...and that has always been so....So why does the Master not show up on the Layout ever ! It has beaten me...and the puzzel leaves me with only one way to issue the drawings. Set up a separate job file for each one anc cnacel all coordination between each floor etc.... Worthless I know but issue to the consultants I must do.
thanks for the try.

(WARNING: I just tried to select multiple layouts in navigator from in the file shown, to assign the same master to each, and AC crashed and bug reporter started, so I would avoid trying to do it this way. This happened twice on different (but similar) files, AC11 1033)
I have done this on my system many times without a problem, so the crash could be hardware or system dependent.

Thought it might have been my computer having a bad hair day, I can select multiple layouts and "print selected", but if I try to change the master of multiple layouts it crashes. Another bug report submitted...
