MEP pipe diameter out side the provided tables.

Team,

I occasionally find myself needing to create a tensor cable to support a hanging canopy with a more proportional visual cable width. I used to use the pipe tool for this purpose, but in the last two versions, the customization of the pipe width is no longer allowed.

Additionally, I sometimes need to create a trash chute with a bent connection at each floor. Again pipes have become an easy way to achieve this.

Is there a way to change the diameter of a pipe outside the existing table dimensions?

I agree, if we could change these on the fly it would make the MEP tool become more widely usable (= outside pipe/duct work).

But I think in the last years we have seen a big narrowing in what tools should and could do. So I won't hold my breath.

Runxel,

I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope they’ll allow me to manually change the dimension. The downspout seam seems like a workaround, but it doesn’t show the elbow connection. I use other tools to achieve what I need. For instance, the join box seam is very useful to me, and I adjust the element ID, classification, and add the necessary information for the specification in the attributes.
