Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and Archicad?

Can anyone from G_soft say anything assuring about AC11 working under the about-to-be-released Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard?

Sometimes it is useful to open older projects in old versions of Archicad because it costs too much time to convert them to ArchiCAD 11, especially larger projects.
Does anyone have experience with ArchCAD 9 running under Leopard?

Not extensive experience, but seems to work fine. I still use every version back to AC7 at times and they all seem to work under Leopard.

I have a lot of problems with crashes lately. Archicad just quits, no bug report or any warning; sometimes the auto-save works, sometimes it doesn't. also my computer just shuts off, no warning, both screens go black and i have to cold boot to get it started again. Today it told me I had to reload CS3 because Acrobat 8 wouldn't work.

I have had to load the OS this week also. Don't know if this is Archicad vs Leopard or what; it sure slows me down.

I have a MAC G5, 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon w/3 hard drives; leopard, 8Gj 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM and am using 2 30" Cinema monitors.

Any suggestions????

Is the 'G5' in your specs a typo?

What circumstances caused you to reinstall the OS? That's really unusual in my experience - I've only done so when a machine needed a complete wipe prior to selling, or for a serious hardware failure, e.g. hard drive packed in.

I'd suggest running a diagnostic package like TechTool, because it sounds like something is repeatedly (and dramatically) failing. TechTool gives all the hardware a good thrashing which can often pinpoint dodgy components.

The computer wouldn't start. The only way I could get it to start was to reinstall the OS; I was on the phone with Apple at the time.

I have had several conversations at length about this problem with Apple Help; Right now I am in a holding pattern to see if that fixed the problems or if I have to take my computer away for a few days and have them trouble shoot it's inner workings and find out what is messing up.

The help lady told me that all MacPro's are called G5's...I really call this computer my Big Mac.

My reseller said some time back that there was a compatibility issue with teamwork features, but as a sole proprietor I'm wondering if I can ignore this?
