The magnetic selection is toggled on (yes I use space for toggle etc) and for the life of working on AC its been fine
Im not sure how long ago but it started feeling flakey...like its clicking through objects and selecting things behind it when previously, I would simply click on a face of an object...? Any ideas
My defaults for the last many years
Cant see the cursor but it is hovering on a flat face yet still highlighting behind
Selecting elements behind face
Weird

Just this one project or is it happening in all projects?
If just this one, is it modelled far from the project origin?
Barry.

Hmm...it is centred on origin...
Seems to be only this project

Maybe in plan but what about height as well?
And make sure that is the Project Origin and not a User Origin.

Yep
Its from a my template...which is set up for 'fairly' painless mirroring etc around 0.0.0
I do not elevate geometry via story or anything...strictly project RL 0 at ground floor top of slab and project leves/AHD manage the rest...I cant understand why peeps still do it that way tbh...thats what proj levels are for, eg wanna change site level by 200mm for optional cut and fill...type in AND and whole project immediately updated...anyway...other 'story' 😉
Cheers
