I need some advise, I have googled but not found any answer.
I try to make a visualization of a project with the building and the whole property and also the land around. The property is pretty big (27 square kilometers), there is also a river going through. How can I make this most efficiant? I think the project will be a bit heavy with a bounch of trees from object library... Is there a way to do this more easy, and comfortable for my old computer?
I also have Cinema4d, Is it better to do this part there?
Another thing; is it possible to have multiple materials on the same mesh?
I don´t want grass on the whole mesh.
Thanks
Jonathan

You can model any combination of features on the surface of a mesh by using the Solid Element Operators; see tutorial of basic process here:
http://www.archicadwiki.com/TerrainRoadObjects
I had posted a similar technique a while ago (see thread here:
http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=30630&view=previous&sid=c2fd2f78881418c1ccb5a2fece080b9b
which is essentially the same but without the need to create object parts.
