Hi,
ArchiCAD 24 introduced a bunch of new features, for architects, engeneers and cordinators,
On the archicad website all looks great, but, what we need really is more in depth explanation,
Ok we have analitic model, so ? Wha's next, what to do with exactly ?, how to work with it ? How to use it in real projects, when the analitic model shoud enter the game, and hiw to use it in the design process, same for mep, Making some videos to describe the tool isn't enough, and doesn't hel archicad to be marked shared, a very long thread speajs about promoting the software and market it very well,
We need a well developped tutorials, on real project which implemznts all the archicad 24 new technologies in their most advanced level if needed, to attract people, and show them if this makes sens or not,
Same thing for mep éléments, more advanced tutorials and case studies,
Archicad lacks of good quality demos and case studies will kill it, no one can buy a car without any idea how to use it in it's full power

I will forward your suggestion to the GRAPHISOFT team. I think it is a good idea, especially regarding the Structural Analytical Model.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your suggestions!

With the release of Archicad 24, MEP became integrated solution, at the same time we introduced the new Structural Analytical Model. To help users with getting started on these features, we made a series of articles in the Help Center:
- Structural Analytical Model: https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/user-guide-chapter/85615/
- MEP Modeler: https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/user-guide-chapter/85633/

But, we see that it's not very easy to follow the written text. Therefore, the Learn platform was created to provide in-depth instruction videos of various Archicad tools and features. The Analytical Model course has been published here: https://learn.graphisoft.com/visitor_class_catalog/category/8876
Whereas, the course about MEP System is being produced. I hope that it will be available soon!

Thank you once again for raising your concern about these new features in Archicad 24. Let me know if you have any further questions!

Best regards,
Minh

One just needs to see what offices like Agwa architects from Belgium can do with Archicad. Why Graphisoft does not contract one of these offices to do a project and show off what this software can really do and make case case studies?

Actually, judging by the amount of videos of archicad users vs revit users on internet, my bet is that many offices that use Archicad dont actually want to promote they use Archicad so they let the competition drown themselves using Revit

i'm sharing dozens of my work on archicad on facebook , in a "mooving to revit" environment, i'm stoppink that moving wave by my simple posts and make people think twice
case studies, are the most important tool to promote, architects can see how much you can do, not just modelling, but cost estimating, programming, managing etc,
here is the last screenshot i shared on my facebook page about cost estimating and in-site execution progress control

GRAPHISOFT has a dedicated page on its web site for case studies:

https://graphisoft.com/case-studies

You can also search GRAPHISOFT's YouTube channel, especially Key Client Conferences or this year's Building Together Conference. They many times show how firms are using Archicad:

Hi!, yes, im aware of these case studies (in the website, havent seen ALL the videos), but from what i have seem they only show the projects as if you were sneaking at their computers from outside. No insights nor processes, so almost nothing can be learned except from the fact that it can be done.

Of course, i doubt most of these offices would be willing to share the innards of their processes, and rightfully so, but that is precisely what i think is being talked about here: A series of videos, of real world projects, with real world processes,, preferably best practices that new and old users can apply . All this parallel to the tutorial videos. What Mr. Eric Bobrow is doing on his website sets a nice example.
