I hope all the graphisoft community is keeping covid-free. I have a question about a weird Archicad mystery. On a specific file I select an area with a marquee and press F5 to see the selected in 3D. Instead of just the selection I see the whole elements that are in the selection. So instead of ''cutting a slice'' it shows me in 3D the entire element of all the elements that are in my selection rectangle... I am pretty sure there is a reason this happens ( a selection or something) If you could help me with this would be great!!
Thanks!

I've never had everything show but there are some things at times that won't show despite the filter being set correctly. Right now the 3d marquee is not showing all levels, it's only showing a partial level. Any ideas? It was working fine about 30 minutes ago...

Check the 3D filter to make sure you are not limiting the 3D view.

Nope, checked that first Barry. Everything is set to show on infinite. Pic 1
Pic 2 - if I hit F5 while in 3d I get more but it cuts off everything above the ceiling level.
Pic 3 - everything in that view is a 3d object excluding the section lines etc. I have drawn an arrow pointing to the roof which has gutters and capping.
Pic 4 - I just deleted all cutting planes and it all came back...somehow the cutting plane has been triggered. Although it's not something easily missed.
Thanks for your help.

I was just going to say it is the cutting planes, but I see you figured that out already.

Yes, that was weird Barry because I haven't used a cutting plane in forever. But here's another weird marquee issue, The wall won't show in 3d. It's there because when I drag it away from the house it is visible in 3d. All the walls below are set to existing and the ones above are set to new. No cutting plane issue this time but no idea what's happening.

Is the wall involved with a Solid Element Operation or a trim to roof?
When you select it, do you see the connection box?

My apologies for not replying sooner. No, it wasn't involved in a SEO. I don't think I'd trimmed to roof yet as I could see the other walls protruding through the roof still. I ended up deleting the wall and redrawing it and now it works. Thank you though because your suggestions are very helpful.
