Massing In ArchiCad?

Hi,
I was wandering what are the TOOLS & PROCESS others use to do the massing of buildings, which in turn would be used as a base for creating walls, slabs and roofs.
This is the process I go through:
1. Creating the rectangular floor slabs at each story.
2. Create a Slab enveloping the floor slabs with thickness of slab as story height at each level.
3. Cutting up the building with the SEO.
4. Tracing the slab in step 2 with the wall, object (for curtain walls) and roof tools.
Any thoughts and feed back?
Thanks,
Joseph Harouni

The folder containing the package was compressed by stuffit 8.02.
But if you don't see a SketchUp2AC81 folder after doubleclicking on the tgz, your stuffit engine definitely doesn't do it's work.

I strongly recommend 10.3 and Stuffit 8.02. Mine also checks if there is an update. Which is helpful-worked for me- unlike the windoze updates.

(I installed a w2000 security update pack and since then It removed every access to file attachments other than zip, and can't read the Archicad talk newsgroup messages- hence my absence here: Djordje, thanks for the heads up!)

The SketchUp website has a user forum I checked last night and if you do a search and type ArchiCAD, you geta shortlist of messages. One of them is specially suggests the Stuffit 8.02 for decompression.

Sailboats can appear in the signature again, but I wanted to keep it simple as a courtesy to the low bandwidth folks.

I think 10.3 and stuffit 8.02 will get you over this hurdle.
