Is it still possible to merge columns in Archicad 25? I can't find this option anymore.

What do you mean.
Merging actual column/post elements or merging columns (output) in schedules?
Barry.

I see from another post that you actually mean column elements.
Could you merge them before in previous versions?
If so, how did you do it?
I assume it would still be the same method now.
Barry.

@Barry Kelly It is not possible anymore, and I don't know why. Please take a look at the enclosed screenshot.
As @mija illustrated it below, the merging column option disappears in Archicad 25.

This option did not change in Archicad 25 (maybe you were thiking of something else?). Merge columns was always like this. This option makes custom profile for the shape and it can't be complex like yours picture.
I suggest you make it with complex structure in column settings.

Even for simple columns, it doesn't work.

Might be a natural result of the segmentation och beams/columns in 23. I have never merged a column though 🙂

This can help speed up work when collaborating with structural engineers on some structural strategies.
