Wouldn't you want the floor finish to go through the door opening?

There wouldn't be a wall there.

Doors, and I believe windows on the floor, will prevent the host wall from clipping the Floor Finish and Floor Other through the opening. As Barry has said, you would typically want your floor finish to continue through so this function is automatic.

You are right, but in the similiar case like balcony door to terrace I would want wall to go under door.

If the wall building materials are stronger than the slab building materials, then the wall will cut away the slab.

So in this case the wall building materials should be stronger than the floor finish and the yellow skins, but weaker than the concrete.
