Model View Options

Hi all

We are doing some 3D documents for some tilt slab layouts but want the windows turned off for this view. I would have assumed that changing this in model view options would have turned the windows off but this doesn't seem to filter through to the 3D view. I thought you could do this somehow but maybe you can't. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Daniel

Yes , Model View options is just for 2D. For 3D there is a separate dialog to Filter Elements in 3D where you can turn particular element types off. (By default, the filter displays everything in 3D except zones - the same filter dialog lets you see 3D representations of zones.)

View > Elements in 3D View > Filter Elements in 3D ...

Screenshot attached. Note that these settings can be saved with a 3D View.

Cheers,
Karl

Karl -- MVOs work in Sections/Elevations as well -- specifically the visibility of openings -- or do you consider these Viewpoints "2D"?

Yeah, I consider those to be 2D. 😉
