Modeling a Tree

Anonymous
Not applicable
I'm working on an art installation, and I would like to model a tree that is built of cables. I'm attaching an image of the inspiration. this example is made of small copper wires, but our group will be proposing 1" thick stranded cables. The leaves are to be figured out later.

Houw would you propose to model this in ArchiCAD? I'm a long time user, but new to the morph tool. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've never attached an image to a post, and Graphisoft makes it very difficult.

Hi there,

I can only see that being modeled using GDL...
Alternatively, looong hours morphing it.

Why don't you model it simplified and apply a textured Surface?
