Moving Small Increments

adjusting some walls and need to move them a very small amount, in this case 1/2", but it won't complete the operation. the software keeps automatically selecting 4". looked at the various settings but unable to determine why?

Operating system used: Mac Intel-based Sonoma 14.4.1

hi barry - it really had to do with the sequencing of steps and data input on my end. really no solution imo rather, me just better understanding ac.
