Offsetting Poly-lines

This may seem like one of those stupid questions, but for the life of me I can not figure it out. Is there a way to offset an existing poly line? I can only find how to offset a new one. Thanks. Jeff

Use the pet palette: selecting a node will give you the option of offsetting the entire polyline, selecting an edge will give you the option of offsetting that edge.

Yes -- it is truly a beautiful thing...

PS. You can offset all polygonal elements this way (Slabs, Fills, etc.).

You could do it this way too:
-Select Polyline tool, change pen, layer, etc.
-Press "O" or click on the offset button in the Control Pallette. This activates the offset mode.
-Press Space Button, you will see the MagicWand cursor - while pressing the Space Button click on the existing polyline and move the mouse.
- Now press "R"for the distance or use Tracker!
