Old Teamworks conversion-someone didn't sign out!

We have a .plp from AC8 that we need to access. Someone neglected to sign out a couple of years ago and we can't sign in at all. Is there any way to sign into this project without reinstalling AC8, signing in and signing out again?

Does anyone remember what the Administrator password was for that project? The admin can sign in and remove the offending team member. Also, is there some reason the project wasn't archived?

We can't even get that far. All we get is the warning box that says everytone has to upgrade, etc. We don't get to the sign-in dialog at all.

change the file extension from PLP to PLN, then open as normal.
