Opening tool - crashing

Hello,

We have some building with a bit complex geometry, so, using new opening tool was a initial decision. In order to show plans properly and opening in the plan, I set them to projected instead of symbolic. But Archicad is crashing soo often at this point is impossible to work, and I think is because of this reason. Do you know if there is any issue with this tool and is there any fix. Tnx!

I have not heard of any particular problems with the opening tool.

Send the bug report off and take note of the report number.

Then contact your local support and ask them what the problem is.

They should be able to at least tell you what caused the crash.

Hey Barry. Is what I did, but they as DE representatives dont have soo much view over it because we use INT version... hmmm

I don't know how the support system works, but if your DE support can not help because you use the INT version, then they should be passing it up the chain to GS HQ to get assistance from them.

Don't take no for an answer.

Be the squeaky wheel.

They are happy to take your money for subscription which includes support, so they should be providing you with that support.

If you didn't purchase through you local distributor, then they should be able to put you in touch with the correct support team that can help.

You are right completely! Not that I dont know how to be insisting, but when whis projects you dont want to loose time on chatting with support. But i should do it, because something is mallfunctioning or at the end is not soo flexible and good tool capable to carry our designs 😕
