What do you mean by "Do?"

Do you mean make them from Plotmaker? I'm not sure.

Do you mean print existing PLTs? Sort of. You can import PLTs into Plotmaker, then include them when you print the set.

sorry wrong Rush....

in publisher...if you go to the "Save-Plot Settings-Destination-Save"...only allows you to ODAT (one drawing at a time)

I think you are correct, you do have to set them up one file at a time. Once you have them set up, you can publish the PLT files as many times as you want throughout the life of the project and they will always be current.

In Plotmaker, create a new Viewset, and set its Viewset Publishing Properties > Publishing Method to "Plot". Then drag the sheets you want into the right-hand side of the Publisher. If you want the whole book, just drag the layout name over and it will create views for all sheets in the book.

Select all sheets, and set the Plot Setup.

Select your first sheet, and set the Plot Settings> Plot Destination to "File". Click Save, and it will ask you for a name for the file. It will default to the number & name of the sheet. All you have to do is provide a location.

For each additional sheet:
Select the sheet, change destination to "File", click "Save", then "OK".

When you are done, either Save the viewset or Publish immediately.

All this does is set up the Publishing settings. Yes, it's time consuming, but once it's done the first time on a project, it will run whenever you need it.

if any of your layouts are placed in folders, the whole folder can be set-up in one go except with the disadvantage that the publisher will create one single PLT file containing all enclosed layouts.

i say disadvantage because this was always useless for me. might work for you?

I hardly ever use publisher, if you name each layout in your template to the corresponding sheet number and plot directly from plotmaker, it will create individual plot files of each page. you can either plot directly to the plotter or to a spool folder. each time you use the spool folder it will add a consecutive number to the plot file. So file management is pretty important. My office uses an Oce' tds600 with print exec lite. But there is other plt manager software out there that can do the same thing.
Publisher has it's uses, but for quick and dirty plotting and printing, plot director works just fine.
