Ponds for Architects

In Germany we are using very often Arial for pond in plans.
I think, american collegues use very funny ponds in plans.
Can you say, what kind of ponds they are?
Is it possible to download this ponds?
Or costs it?

Ponds / Fonts. It's all good mate.

Good one is adobe's 'tekton'.
Easy to read but somewhat hand drawn.
Probably have to pay for that though. $15.00 US
I use it and Arial.

the font in the image looks to be "city blueprint", and i think it is a standard font in windows.

That was weird. I posted that attachment to another topic, so I was a bit puzzled as to why it was posted by someone else under "ponds".. I had no idea what a pond for architects was, so just had to look

That font in called MrHand. It is available from Objects online at this link

I am using in a moment "Myriad condensed web", because it is short and cost free.

I'm in Canada. Almost every firm I know uses a different font including Helvetica, Arial, Tekton, Graphite. The trend seems to be moving towards sans serif fonts, especially Arial.
