Problem with Eye Dropper

Anonymous

Hello,
I upgraded AC 10 to the latest version (1176) . Now i have some problems with eye dropper.
i copy the walls properties by eye dropper then i want to draw same wall by clicking the wall icon.
The wall's bottom elevation is -100 from story 0
when i copy its properties by eye dropper it changes to +200
If the value is minus it changes to plus.
Is it a bug? Or is there an option to set this?

I don't believe the elevation (nor height) of the wall is transferrable via the eyedropper. Try setting the elevation in the dialog box first, then inherit the properties of the desired wall.

Parameter transfer should transfer every parameter in the elements Settings dialog, except the ID.

There have been a few bugs in this area, but are you sure you have the latest version of AC10? I have AC10 1183 INT loaded on my machine.

Cheers,

Hi again,
>>Lura;
yes, you can transfer all settings ( sometimes )

>>Link;
You're right. i've known its latest version

>>Joeri;
yes, its same problem.

i am really frustrated by this kind of problems. Few days ago, i went to the seminar of Revit Architecture 2008. They improved very good options. Actually,in my opinion,now AC is the leader in architectural drawing program area. But Revit seems to take place of leadership (i hope AC doesn't let this).

May be this is a different tile of subject but, what do you think about these events?
This is the post I was referring to (from memory) -- unfortunately, it looks like my memory failed me in this case.
