In Archicad 10 I have no possibility to see cennection line (join) between two identical objects. It is bad. Have I any possibility to see this line in 3d shading or hidden lines mode?

If you use two different materials you will get a line. If you want the materials to be identical just use two different names.

Thanks, but this is not a way out. I have much identicals objects to conect.
And each object group contains diferent materials. In this case I must duplicate all materials If this is only way to get this line, then i so this problem like a bug of the programm

I assume you are using the slab tool to create your "objects". ArchiCAD will join slabs or walls with identical material names. That's why I suggested to create two identical materials with different names.

But if you have many of these identical "objects" why don't you create a library part? If you have two identical adjoining library parts there will be a line separating them in 3d view.

You could get contourlines, but I can't explain how without knowing what 3d mode you are using and how you have your settings now.

Maybe your settings won't allow you to show contourlines.

I have made this library parts from wall and slab combination.

This is one of the great features of Archicad - it removes the lines between two elements with the same material! In this way, for example, you do not get unnecessary lines on the elevations between different floors!

Yours is a special case, where you want to have lines - then use the material trick, mentioned before! In 90% of the cases, though, automatical line removal is a good option!

BTW, in AC9 this could be achieved with the Special Menu. I haven't tried it in AC10, though, and as fas as I remember someone mentioned it had been removed from AC.

If you need internal engine, than the only solution to get a line between 2 elements is to make som space between them, it coult be tiny, like 0.1 mm if you want to, but you cant have them place on exactly same point.
But I normaly got lines between too objects like Stig says.

But if you use OpenGL engine instead, you get your line
