Project preview - version 11

Can anyone paste anything into the project preview of version 11?

File menu > Info > Project Preview.

Try as I might I just can't get anything to paste in there.
I just get a message saying there is nothing in the clipboard to paste.

I use it as a way of recognizing what version the file was created in but you can add anything to it - even a 3D view of your model.
It will show up as the icon for the file name replacing the default Archicad icon.

Just copy something from plan and paste it in usually works - but not in 11 for me at least.

Managed to do it by doing a screen capture of what I wanted.
This pasted in OK.
But in previous versions you can cut and paste anything, lines, objects, whole plans or 3D views (with the 2D marquee).
Maybe it will only allow BMP images to be pasted?

Same problem here , and its not happening all the time... weird !!
even the same with preview of objects .

Found out there is a Registry Key that controls this.

I'm sure there is something similar to the Windows Registry in the Mac but I am not familiar with them.
This key also works in version 10 but it is set on (1) by default there and off (0) in version 11 as default.
That's why there was suddenly a difference between the versions.
Why this couldn't be added in as a Work Environment option I don't know.

No problems here. You can't (necessarily) use copy/paste from AC. It works with the marquee from 3D but not from plan view. A screen capture program will always work though (Grab, Snapz Pro, etc.)
