Railing node offset from segment intersection AC25

Is this a bug?  My railing suddenly shows a node that is offset from the intersection of two adjacent segments.  Is this supposed to be possible?  If so, how do I move the node back Screen Shot 2021-09-29 at 3.47.05 PM.pngto where it should be (at the intersection of the segments)?
