Real time log= Bad for Quality of Life

I was at a seminar on 15 where it showed that you can go back and review all the changes made to a file with time stamps etc.

I feel like a truck driver who just got the GPS put on them.

Could be a slippery slope where some architects will be offering this to clients who will come to expect this type of thing.

Or their attorneys will when there are problems.

Is this ability available 15? and can it be turned off?

I agree. I understand when projects need a due date, but to be timed to the second seems to be unreasonable.

You say you saw this shown in an AC15 webinar?
Did they show this in the program?
Because I don't know of such functionality.
Was it maybe an Add-On?

Have you heard stories of people in call centres?
All calls recorded, can be overheard at any time (no warning).
They have to make so many calls in an allotted time etc.
I thought that was pretty intense.

For the architect this is a little questionable - as we may leave a project open while we do other tasks as part of the process...it could only be feared by a draftee whose sole job in life is to churn out drawings.......

or perhaps feared by those who don't adhere to company standards - now we can see who did it! 😉 But seriously who has time to trawl through such logs anyhow!!!!

Exactly. Digging through the database logs of who changed what, when is a tech-support feature, not a time-tracking tool.

There is the new Customer Experience Involvement Program that I guess would create the data log Mo mentioned.
I don't know where it would be saved as I haven't gone looking.

Actually I see on this web page that the data is encoded and can not be reviewed so maybe this is not what Mo saw after all.
