Can I rotate a recessed light in archicad to put it in a pitched ceiling?

not really, the object doesn't have that parameter, and you can't rotate it freely.

As a workaround, you could:
  • 1. Low Tech ----> Morph it, then rotate it - loosing all it's Light properties.
    2. Hi Tech ----> Copy the object with a different name, then add
    ROT, ROTX, ROTY, ROTZ
    ROT x, y, z, alpha
Rotates the local coordinate system around the axis defined by the vector (x, y, z) by alpha degrees, counterclockwise. It has only one entry
in the stack, thus it can be deleted with DEL 1.
to the 3D script, and change the x-y-z variables to something else, create the parameters in the Parameter panel.
Hope it helps
