!Restored: ArchiCAD 10 in Windows Vista?

I don't know if anybody else has tried Vista (I got a beta version I'm trying out on a spare hard drive). Anyways, it seems that Windows Vista crashes anytime you try to move, copy, or delete an ArchiCAD 10 .pln or .bpn file in the explorer. This is likely not anything Graphisoft needs to be concerned with other than notifying Microsoft to fix the bug.

Although MS is notorious for bugs, just as the article you link to mentions, I do question the author's motives because he's working for McAfee, and they and all the other antivirus software vendors have a great deal to lose if MS actually cleans up its act and produces a sound OS. Again, I'm not saying that MS actually did it with Vista: so far I haven't had any problems other than bugs, which MS keeps telling me in the bug reporter that the problems are fixed in the final release to come. So..., cross our fingers and take the plunge, or go the safe route and buy a Mac.

I've started thinking of machines as "Windows only" or "Mac and Windows".... funny how that sells people more easily 😉

Especially when the ones with the Mac option look cooler and cost less

I guess I missed the possible ulterior motives. I suppose we'll see how it goes once Vista actually ships. I'll probably wait a few months before upgrading just as I did upgrading from NT to 2000, and then from 2000 to XP (more than a few months on that one). I also want to see what sort of performance penalty there is for the new features.
