Roof Renovation

With the new associative roof tool and renovation feature, do I need to 'explode' a roof I've created in AC15 in order to apply the 'DEMO' renovation setting to a portion of it?

Or is there some way to keep the 'existing to remain' portions of the roof associated while having the other portions set to Demo and Renovation?

Also - is the barrel roof functionality gone?

Yes, the roof needs to be split into separate parts, the command is the new Split into Single-plane Roofs.

Yes, replaced by the Shell Tool.
