Roof Wizard and Rafters

Whenever I use the roof wizard it always ends up putting the rafters on top of the roof. Is there a setting that controls this that I'm missing?

About all I ever place are the rafters, ridges and valleys. Just know the Wizard will place the rafters at the bottom of the composite. If you have 1/2 GWB, then the bottom of the GWB is where the rafters are going to be set. You can adjust the depth of the birds mouth in the the rafter in the wizard under "Beams". I typically place the (first) roof, without worrying about height, then adjust it in section. That should place the rafters where you need it.

You can see in this screen shot the rafter are right in the porch beam. The bottom of the "temporary" roof composite was adjusted to sit right there. After the rafters were placed, then I switched roof composites to a simple 2" decking, and re-set the height or one roof, again in section, then optioned clicked the other roofs to set their height (when more than one roof is involved).
