Save as window size

Hi all, perhaps you can help me. I am working with AC24 (all updates loaded) on iMac. Using the "save as"" function, the appearing window is very large (wider as my 27" screen) and it is impossible to reduce the size.With all other applications it is working fine, including to change the window size. It is a AC issue, only. Many thx for any help. BR Claudia
