Sections don't always display details

Using Archicad16 on a Mac platform. Sometimes when I cut a section through a house, the doors and windows will disappear and just the rough openings will show up. Is there a setting or a button I can push that will allow the doors and window details to show up in section?

One thing to check: Model View Options > Options for Construction Elements > Door Options: (Window Options:) > Show Opening Only.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
